Blake Deeley
Blake is the Director of Federal Affairs focusing on transmission, permitting, appropriations, and military siting issues. Blake comes to ACP with an extensive background in energy and environmental policy. He has served ten years in the federal government working in both the legislative and the executive branches. He most recently worked as Legislative Director to Congressman Dan Meuser of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Rep. Meuser’s office, he served in the Trump Administration. First, at the Department of the Interior’s Office of Congressional Affairs and then at the White House as Special Assistant to the President in the Office of American Innovation and the Domestic Policy Council. He has also had the privilege of working for Congressman David McKinley of West Virginia as well as Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul of Kentucky. Blake earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Kogod School of Business at American University.
