Rachel Paisley

Vice President, Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development, Rachel is responsible for growing, cultivating and enhancing sponsorship and exhibit partnerships for ACP’s events and conferences and expanding products and services to better serve members.

In her 25 years of leadership in the events industry, Rachel has developed teams driving business through implementation of strategies that foster relationships. Prior to joining ACP, she lead the Global Sales Organization as Group Director at Encore joining that family through Hargrove in Washington DC, driving the event sales team. Prior to that, Rachel was the Vice President of Business Development at Agency and DMC, Red Velvet Events in Austin, Texas, where she focused not only on developing teams to drive new business, but also on financial management, strategic marketing, and oversight of event operations and processes. Earlier in her career she produced large scale conferences & events; directed hotel sales, event and catering divisions; built and operated an event tent & rental company; and traveled the globe connecting clients with experiences.

Rachel lives in Maryland with her daughter Ava and dog Luci almost always outdoors either in the water, on a hike, at a community event, or exploring something new… typically winding down with a glass of Pinot Noir.
