Ananya Root

Ananya Root joined ACP as a Marketing Coordinator after graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Marketing Management, and while in school she worked at Camilla Valentina and Modea as a marketing intern supporting them with brand awareness, strategic advertising and content creation. After graduating in May 2022, she worked full-time as a recruiter at TEKsystems but decided she wanted to come back to where her skills and passion truly reside, which is in Marketing.

Ananya started this role in January 2023 and is ready to be a strong asset to the marketing team. She will be assisting the team with email marketing for campaigns, related to events & webinars and drafting membership communications while working cross-departmentally to compile internal newsletters. She will also be supporting the Event Marketing Manager in staffing and maintaining the ACP store and working with the Graphic Designer to create and update branded staff materials such as email signatures, PowerPoint slides and video call backgrounds.

Ananya joins the Marketing team under Becca Browne, Sr. Director of Marketing & Strategic Initiatives, and Bridget Williams, Events Marketing Manager.
